The materials used for processing the replacement parts of the prototype model are mainly divided into metal and plastic, among which aluminum alloy and stainless steel are commonly used. Aluminum alloy has low density but high strength, processing performance, excellent welding and electroplating characteristics, good corrosion resistance, high toughness, and no deformation after processing, dense and defect free materials, easy polishing, easy coloring film, oxidation effect, and other excellent characteristics, After sandblasting and oxidation treatment, the appearance effect will be better. The commonly used materials for plastics include ABS, POM, PMMA, PA, PC, PP, PPS, etc. Among them, ABS is an engineering plastic, which is a commonly used plastic material in the hand board industry. It has excellent impact resistance, heat resistance, low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical properties. It also has the characteristics of easy processing, stable product size, and good surface gloss. It can be disassembled for processing and can meet the basic requirements of products in various industries. POM, also known as Saigang, is a hard and dense material with a smooth surface and good glossiness. It has good bending strength, fatigue resistance, and wear resistance, making it suitable for making gear parts. PMMA: Commonly known as acrylic, also known as organic glass, has good transparency, better transparency than PC materials, and excellent heat resistance. PA: Also known as nylon, it has high mechanical strength, good toughness, and is not sticky to glue. It is not recommended to disassemble for processing. PC: High impact strength, good dimensional stability, colorless and transparent, good coloring and wear resistance, can withstand high temperatures, and is a transparent material. PP: Polypropylene, with low density, rigid strength, and better hardness and heat resistance than low-pressure polyethylene, can be used at temperatures around 100 ° C. PPS: It is a high-temperature resistant material that can withstand temperatures up to 230 degrees without deformation.
